Is living together as democratic citizens of one country are an act of compulsion? â€Å"For the first time in history global politics is both multipolar and multicivilizational; modernization is distinct from Westernization and is producing neither a universal civilization in any meaningful sense nor the Westernization of non-Western societies.† (p.20) The valley of these civilizations as perceived by Huntington is not all green!
