Earlier tonight, a handful of friends and I went to a performance of four student-written one-act plays put on Dramashop (the same group that put on Suburbia last year). They were pretty good, especially considering they were all written by actual MIT students. Of course, Dramashop wasnt the only club putting on a show tonight Dance Troupe, MIT Symphony Orchestra, and the Chorallaries were also out in full force. I wish Id been able to go to all of these awesome events but, alas, I havent perfected the art of being in multiple places at once. (Yet.) After Dramashop, the aforementioned friends and I headed over to the student center to grab some snacks from LaVerdes, the campus convenience store, and sat around swapping stories and other random humor including a very fun story about various giant confectioneries our group had baked or otherwise encountered recently. Around ten, I met up with another friend Samantha 11 and headed towards Central Square to Toscaninis, everyones favorite local ice cream store (yes, it was a junk food-filled night and it was DELICIOUS).
